FAQ

When should I book my session?

Newborn sessions typically take place when your baby is under two weeks old. Although, I have photographed many older babies who do very well.

I recommend booking when you are in your second trimester, but I can always make room for your little bundle of joy. Once contacted for a session, I will pencil in a tentative date. When you are home from the hospital and settled, contact me for an official session date and time.

What should I bring to my session?

Please bring what you would normally take out with you. Bottles, pacifiers, diapers, wipes, etc. It would be a good idea to bring snacks and drinks if you will be doing a studio session since they are three hours long.

I provide the props. But feel free to bring anything you would like included.

What should we wear?

I recommend wearing solid white or light- colored clothing. Avoid large logos and take off your apple watches. Shoes and pants do not matter for adults. Chest up is all that shows. Plain black or flowy fabrics can be used as well. They tend to photograph nicely.

You have more flexibility with what children can wear. Dresses are a great option or just jeans and a white tee. Anything works for kids but the simpler the better. You can't go wrong with cream or white.

Siblings will also be barefoot since the bottom of a shoe is distracting if facing the camera.

When do we include the family?

You have the option of doing family photos at the beginning of the session or the last hour. If including siblings in the session, I would recommend having someone drive them separately. Someone can bring them for the last hour or if we are doing family photos first, they can go home after they are done. Three hours is a long time. They lose interest fast. Mom is more relaxed when it is just her and the baby.

What prep should I do before the session?

It is best to keep the baby awake two hours before the session, but understandably your baby may not do that. So, my advice is, do not stress! Your baby will either sleep or be awake during the session. They make the rules. I go with the flow of what your baby does.

There will be plenty of time for feedings, cuddles, and diaper changes. Feeding before the session saves time but if you have a far drive, feed while here.

Where is your studio?

I am in the beginning years of my photography business. Therefore, all indoor sessions are held in my home, located in Kulpmont. I convert my living room for your session unless it's a lifestyle or fresh 48 session.

When will we get our photos?

You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within 3 weeks.

Can I purchase additional digital photos?

Yes! If you would like to pick your photos and have the option to purchase more digitals, you can. Additional photos are $10 apiece.

I will walk you through this process if requested.

Why should I order prints through my online gallery?

You don't have to fuss with uploading your session to another website or app or even going into a store to pick up your purchase. I did all of the hard work for you. You just have to add to cart and pay with card at the end.

Your order will automatically get sent to a professional, high-quality lab, instead of printing from a consumer lab like Walmart or CVS. The quality is significantly better because I color calibrate my computer to the lab. It gives a better printed result.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Payment will be collected at the end of your session. I accept cash or check only.
